Active Winter Experiences

Active Winters

Hike through the magnificent winter countryside and enjoy the sight of the imposing white giants which flank you - including the Wilder Kaiser and Zahmer Kaiser. The region which surrounds Walchsee, with around 80 kilometers of beautifully maintained, clearly marked winter hiking paths, invites you to set out on leisurely winter walks.

Guided winter walks and night hikes are offered in Walchsee and Kössen. With the Kaiserwinkl Card, you are welcome to participate for free. Be sure to come equipped with suitable winter clothing and sturdy boots.

If you want to explore away from the well-trodden winter paths, then why not take a snowshoe hike instead. A great opportunity to experience the magic of wintertime and the pristine beauty of nature. We recommend taking a guided snowshoe hike led by an experienced hiking guide.

Atmospheric torchlight hikes.

Once a week, here at the Holiday Club we organize an atmospheric torchlight hike. Which is, of course, free to guests of the Bellevue. If you want to sign up for a torchlight hike, simply stop by the reception desk.

Ice Skating

The natural ice rink next to the Ramsbachstüberl in Walchsee is open daily and free for you to enjoy with your Kaiserwinkl Card. From Bellevue Holiday Club, the ice rink is barely a 10 minute walk. Skates can be borrowed right next to the ice rink.

Ice stock is also possible there. A sport with an incredibly long tradition, especially here in Tyrol. For more information about ice skating and ice stock, including details about opening times, reservations and possible discounts, simply stop by the Bellevue reception.
